Diamonds for Less was amazing!
Hi,
My experience with Diamonds for Less was amazing! I was walking by and I saw the store at the corner of Yonge, and Shutter Rd. As I beeped in, I was welcomed by extremely professional individuals who welcomed me into their store. I was guided to Andreas' office. He ensured that whatever products I receive from him will be of exceptional quality, and unbeatable prices. When enquiring further about these products and prices, I was stunned at how inexpensive the diamonds were (I did LOTS of research before, and walked in to approximately 9-10 different jewellers before – this was by far the most inexpensive).
All of the diamonds came with certification, so they were definitely authentic. The first thing that crossed my mind is if this was a scam of some sort, and I communicated this with Andreas. He said when I make a deal for a specific diamond, and custom made ring, he would take me to a separate appraiser, and take me somewhere else to get the diamond set in front of my eyes! This definitely reassured me that his product is exceptional. He also explained to me that his prices are cheaper then others because their business is a wholesaler, thus they cut out several middle-men.
I made the deal. I went with another individual from the business named Alex to get the ring appraised, and set. All the while all of the staff were extremely courteous, professional, and very down-to-earth. After getting it set, and appraised, Andreas even went online to help me find a box that I was looking for. He was relentless when trying to please me as a customer, and I really appreciated that!
I've already recommended DFL to many of my friends, and I'll make sure they go nowhere else – these guy's are truly amazing.
BTW – I got an EXACT replica of the Birks Blue ring with a 1.1 karat high quality diamond ring. If I had gotten this from Birks, it would have cost me $15,000. I literally saved $11,500. Also, Andreas said I can come in at ANY time if there are modifications to the ring that need to be made (any sort of modification to the design), and he would get it done free of charge at ANY time! Also, if I wanted to upgrade/downgrade the ring, he would take back the stone for its original price and upgrade it, also at ANY time! This is amazing!

Boy was I impressed!
I did receive my ring on Tuesday the 18th of May and boy was I impressed. I think that this ring is the most beautiful ring I have ever seen, and believe me I have looked at a lot of rings. Peter and I are very happy with the size of the diamonds and the beautiful setting. It is just gorgeous and we love it! You really do rock fella! I wish that I had gone to see Diamonds for Less from the start
Searching for that perfect ring can be quit overwhelming to say the least. I started looking for that perfect ring a few months ago with little to no luck at all, there were so many choices and so many decisions I felt as if my brain would explode. I decided to take a walk through the infamous jewellery district on Yonge St. downtown Toronto. This street is littered with jewellers that prey on your lack of knowledge in hopes of making a quick buck and taking advantage of your situation. Fed up with my experiences I decided to do my homework on diamonds and the 4Cs that make up the quality.
A "New Man" now, I decided to go back Downtown with my knowledge and try this process again in hopes of locating that perfect diamond (for the perfect price of course). I shopped around but I realized that most jewellers have a very limited supply of stones, although some forced these diamonds on me I refused to settle. Frustrated with the situation I decided to leave but on my way back I saw a sign on Shuter St. just across from Frans restaurant. The sign said Diamonds for Less I'm not exaggerating when I say that this sign was speaking to me. It was exactly what I was looking for, great diamonds for less money! I decided to make one last stop and check out what they had to offer.
As soon as I walked in I was greeted and taking into see Serko. When I say this man knows his diamonds it's an understatement because I told him exactly what I was looking for (quality and price wise) and with no hesitation he was able bring out tons of Diamonds that fit my criteria! I sat down and selected a diamond, once he showed me the selection of engagement bands I found the perfect one to fit this Tiffany style ring. I walked out 20% under budget.
The next day I decided to show the ring to my girlfriends' friend. She told me that it was not the right ring! Panicking now, I got on the phone with Serko immediately. Serko reassured me that everything would be taken care of and that he was most concerned with our happiness that he would not rest until I had exactly what I wanted. I went back the following morning and despite my indecisiveness I was able to upgrade to a larger stone and match that perfect ring. I walked down the street to the diamond setter and told him exactly how I wanted the setting, then we walked to Gem Lab and got an appraisal on the spot all included in the price. Once the ring was finished, set, sized and appraised and only once I was completely satisfied with the final product is when I paid.
Diamonds for less has an impeccable reputation and most jewellers buy diamonds from them so you know that they have an enormous selection. They have been in business for over 20 years and are content on making the customer happy. Take it from me, I have had many bad experiences in pursue of that perfect ring. I wish that I had gone to see Diamonds for Less from the start because I am confident that even after shopping around Diamonds for Less will always be your last stop.
